Fiber Installation

I am developing a new small body of work and today I began experimenting with an idea I have had ever since I started collecting all the scrap fibers and threads from all of my fiber/sewing projects.  I couldn’t bare to throw any of it away. It seemed like such a waste of material.

So in the studio today I dumped two canvas bags stuffed with my scraps to begin playing around with the way I wanted to use this material waste in a space. Here are a few images I captured to help me figure out what I want to do with this stuff.
