Happy late summer. Here isĀ ourĀ little mid august garden we’ve grown for five years now.
Since most of the garden contains herbs and perennials we do little planting anymore. This year we did no planting and just let things volunteer up out of the compost. So I have transplanted a few tomato plants and let the pumpkins and gourds take over my old compost pile.

Usually our mid august garden would be shades of light brown by now from the late July and August sun, but we have had a large amount of rainfall all summer. So before it does all turn into next years compost I decided to document and share.
